Sohbah of Hajjah Ruqqaiyah Sultan

Dated 8th May 2020 / 15 Ramadan 1441

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,

Yesterday, was talking about Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, today I have to make it short. Because we have long, we still have long program to go. It’s Jum’aa…..Jum’aa Alhamdulillah…..Alhamdulillah, Allah was , Allah’s blessing that, we are his children and mureeds and followers. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah, that he, left for us, the Khalifa Shaykh Mehmet  Ar Rabbani, also it is big blessing for us. It is mercy from Allah, Rasoolallah and our  Shaykh. Yes Alhamdulillah. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim use to, he was always, on Sharia and tariqa. He was, all his movements were on like, sunnah of Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He was never going around without wudhu, without praying two rakah for sunnatul wudhu. And every… don’t notice, but sometimes when you read about the sunnah’s of Prophet that, you don’t know but always like…..naturally he’s doing all the sunnah’s of Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. You know…..even his last days he was not moving without, you know he cannot take wudhu, but he was, always taking tayammum, he never eat anything without having wudhu, or tayammum or he was not moving around without following the sunnah of Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam…..After this was, telling about the, what happened in the…..Cyprus when it was, this man was against him and it was released Alhamdulillah. In this year, Mawlana use to bring so many, people for, for Hajj.

It was, I think the last year, He brought them to Hajj, also. It was, they were, little bit, making him angry in Makkah, they said to make tawaf, to make tawaf wada, and we go. When we make tawaf ul wada, in Makkah you have to move, you must not, stay in Makkah or do something else, so they were…..going around and he was collecting them and then they came to Medina, because I coming by bus,  they coming to Medina by bus, and they who goes to Hajj will know. They know how, they queued the buses now, nowadays also they queue the buses they look for your passports, in, out and then they were queuing the bus and was, I think it was rain and it was muddy, and…..they said to them, you, you cannot move on, before, three days, you have to stay in Medina, three days, before, now Medina. Then the hajji’s were, everyone say, “Oh!  we don’t”, we are, we are missing our  families, we want  to go, why we are  staying here and this and that, and Shaykh Effendi getting so angry, and you know…..Already the responsibles there in  Saudia, they are slow, they are making everything that you fed up of your life, you know, they are torturing people. Anyway then, Shaykh,  Mawlana Shaykh was turning to Kubbat Khadra,  its’ shown there…..”Ya Rasoolallah, open their door that they don’t come back again”. After half an hour one man came, say the way is open, your way is open, you go. Now you’re not,  you can, don’t wait three days,  you go. Then, this Maa Shaa Allah, it was, they were regretting all the hajji’s in the bus, they were regretting they were crying, you know, one lady, she was from the hajji’s when they came to Damascus she was telling Hajja  Anna about it. And, Sub Haan Allah after that you know there was, war and it was finish. The, this door of the Hajj, closed. Mawlana was not taking anymore any people to Hajj. One more time in 1981, He went to Umrah, stayed four months but, not Hajj, he did not go. But every year in Hajj time, people come and say, ‘Oh! we saw you in Hajj, we saw you in Hajj’  and sometimes he was sending people also to Hajj asking them, “ Did  you see me?,  I saw you but, did you see me”, He was asking them, some say yes, some say no, some say, we saw you from the back of tribe to run after you, we cannot find you, and this, every year for Hajj. Hajja Anna, Maa Shaa Allah,  she was very patiently deal,  Alhamdulillah. She was looking after us, many, many children. She had five children. And, and she was looking after us good, supporting Mawlana Shaykh. Because he was going to Hajj journey and He’s going to Cyprus and He’s going also to seclusion, and Maa Shaa Allah,  she was you know, Hajja Naziha and Shaykh Mehmet, Mawlana was not there when she got them. She have them, have them three, Khadija,  I don’t know if she was maybe I think, I don’t know also but with Hajji Bahuddin and me, they were, he was there. I know this for sure. My sister always telling me this.

Astagfirullah…. Anyway, Hajja Amina was, Mawlana always, was praising her that if she was looking after the house and the kids like this, I would not be like this. Alhamdulillah for both of them. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim was taking special lectures, sohbah’s from Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah in tahajud time for many years. He was going himself alone sitting with Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah, taking. Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah was giving him lecture, sohbah every tahajud time for many years, maybe seven years, most when he’s in Damascus. We were living and were married and live in Damascus for more than thirty years. We are all born and Shaykh Mehmet, Shaykh Bahuddin, Hajja Naziha, me, born all in Damascus. This is special sohbah’s were only for him. One to one with Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah, Mawlana has lots of books written by hands, his all the sohbah’s were now, there most of, most of them, in Damascus. Insha  Allah, in the, in the cupboard. I hope there’s nothing happened to them, but this is also, it was special treatment for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim from Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah. Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah in 1973, he passed away. He had some eye operation and it was anyway, complications. He ask, stayed in Beirut for forty days in my sister bedroom. In the bedroom, this is miracle of Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah, I want to just make notice of out of it. After he coming to, from hospital. He stayed in their house, in my sister where was her bedroom. And Sub Haan Allah,  after few years his passing away, the house, there was civil war in Beirut, in Lebanon and the house  was burnt. Their house it was very big house, like a, like a mansion, mansion, big mansion it was and everything was burnt in this house, except the room of my sister. That only the door was burnt. There was small books in the front of the door and the bed of the baby, she had a baby, her, this is. And inside the room was the bed where Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah was sleeping. It was complete, the rugs on the floor, the windows everything was, only the door was burnt and the room was complete. You know, they even have the photos, the whole house was nothing there. It was all burnt, except this room where Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah was laying down for few…..for forty days. Anyways, Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah when He, He asked to go to Damascus, He took to him to Damascus and told them that I will pass away. It was fourth of Ramadan. He told them, when I pass away, you don’t stay, you make my seventh day and you go. And he passed away, Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah, he was, doctor Mahmood was trying to make for him heart massage, to wake, then he took his hand, open his eyes and say enough. And he closed the eye again. “Don’t, don’t make”,  He said, enough. They called Mawlana, they sent telegram or I don’t know, Mawlana was in Cyprus, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim was in Cyprus, and he was, Sub Haan Allah, he was going to finding a ticket plane, going to Beirut same day. It is you know, nowadays every five minutes you find plane but that days you know, fifty years ago, it is not possible. He find the plane and He was very…. He was, no he was going to the plane and they didn’t accept. He said “You have to wait for me”. They waited,  the plane was on the runway and stopped and they took Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and take to Beirut. And from Beirut to Damascus it needs you by, car, you have to go maybe three hours nowadays with nice more roads. That days, I think it was five hours. Mawlana reached Maghrib time in to the funeral, they pray in Maghrib time, funeral and they put where now the  maqaam of  Mawlana Shaykh  Abdullah and he was closing the doors and said not to, “Don’t enter, nobody’s entering”. He was sitting with Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah’s, body, holy body. One of the madhzoob was telling, I was looking from the, from the, hole, from the door, I saw Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah was  sitting in front of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. And I don’t, he was, talking and he was making on him,  blessing him and reading on him and Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah…..Mawlana Shaykh Nazim was  taking something and putting on his heart. And this madhzoob…..He was telling this and after one hour, he woke, open the  door and said, “Come, we now, we bury the body”. This is the story of…..Shaykh Abdullah Khalifa his Khalifa,  Mawlana Shaykh Nazim.

After, this madhzoob, he’s relative of Shaykh Hisham, Shaykh Adnan. He was  also Syed. He was Syed, his mom, was cancer…..patient, and this man he believes,  so much Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, he said you have to cure her. But its Allah, Allah’s will she died. Then he said he will kill Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (laughs). And in the funeral, he said, he was saying you know, you didn’t help my mother. Then in the funeral, he was telling that he was making, going like  a  robot. He said somebody came and just, tie my…..doesn’t show but he said, tied me and I cannot move I cannot do anything. But he ask to sleep with Mawlana Shaykh in same room, in the same room. At night he is getting upset. I will look what Shaykh, you know, his intention, funny intention doing, then he was getting up, seeing Mawlana Shaykh from half, from his back, top of his body, he’s saying standing in the  front of him and smiling, to him, and he’s looking there and seeing in the bed, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim is sleeping in the bed and he’s looking at him and he’s smiling. Till morning he said and in the morning prayer, he was getting up and saying, “Ah! Shaykh Nazim, forgive me”. Then Sub Haan Allah, this man, he had, to has operation in his eye, eye operation. He was, he said, “I won’t go to”, they said, he have to go that time, in England, in London it was, more professional doctors, they told him to go to England to have eye operation. He was insisting to take Shaykh Nazim, I won’t go without Shaykh Nazim, so he was taking Shaykh Nazim to England with him. And, Sub Haan Allah, this door opened, this that year after Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah’s passing away, this door, through this man, the door of England and Europe and west was opening, because of the madhzoob. He wants to go with Shaykh Nazim to have operation, he will not go without him. And so that day, you know rest of the story Sub Haan Allah, but, you know also Mawlana Shaykh with his blessings I believe, that there was, this now, lots of mosque’s all over Europe. That time, it was hardly they don’t find any places, even this Central mosque in London, it was a tent. It was a muslim land, they make tent and prayer Jum’aa in it. This…..Mawlana was making so much, working so hard, you know, he had small masjid first, then he bought with help of people around him there, this, Shacklewell lane  mosque and then the Peckham mosque and then Priory.  But then, this was the seeds of Mawlana Shaykh was throwing in Europe and in England. Now, Maa Shaa Allah, every corner there’s one mosque and even with the minaret with nice dome, and this Mawlana has right on each person in Europe who’s muslim or becoming muslim, Mawlana’s right is on them. This is, one day it is long story, you all know. Mawlana made all this for the sake of Allah for sake of Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, love  of Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam  for Islam, for Tariqa. It is long story all knows, Insha Allah, we tell so many, so long  we can take it, talk about it for so long. I believe that every person Mawlana saw or he, or they see Mawlana, or even they don’t see him. They see him in dreams. Mawlana make for them a miracle. Each, each person really has one miracle from Mawlana. At least one, one thing, one thing, that make this person happy, Mawlana give. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah Al’a Kulli Haal. Alhamdulillah that Mawlana, we were, Allah blessed us with him, Alhamdulillah. Even we are not deserve it, but Alhamdulillah he, he Allah think that we deserve it. Alhamdulillah for Allah, Ashukrulillah, Ashukrulillah.

Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq,
