Sohbah of Hajjah Ruqqaiyah Sultan

Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam for 13 years in Makkah He was…. following his people, and also other people tribes coming to Hajj, to Makkah also he was making, calling them for Islam and for Tawhid. Tawhid it means that ‘Lā ilāha illā -llāh’, that no God except Allah, and the mushriqs in Makkah, specially there was a group of them, the heads of Quraysh…..They were so much objecting and Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam and also humiliating him, making people to go against him and always talking about him that He is a crazy, He is a poet maker, He is a wizard making magic, that’s why He’s…..like this, you know, one, one, one of this incidents that one of the big head of them came to Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam and he was talking to him and Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was telling him, ‘shall I tell you something, from Qur’an’, then this, He was reading something from Qur’an, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam to this man, and this man he was nearly becoming muslim. But in the end he said that you are making magic, that you are making, coming from your mouth magic came and your making spell on me, you’re nearly getting me muslim. And he was telling him also and running away. One, once also they were coming and tell him that we, we, we…..we worship your God one year and you worship our Gods one year then we are fair.
Then it comes, Surah, ‘Qul ya ayyuha alkafiroon. Laaa a’budu maa t’abudoon. Wa laaa antum ‘aabidoona maaa a’bud. Wa laaa ana ‘abidum maa ‘abattum. Wa laaa antum ‘aabidoona maaa a’bud. Lakum deenukum wa liya deen’. It won’t happened. And once Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was, I think He was telling about their idols that their not good that thing, there were, there was Surah, and…..He was…..Astagfirullah Al Azeem, He was telling something, anyway, Surat ul Kafireen, this is one of them. Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was sometimes humiliating their, their idols, then it was, Ayah came to Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam that don’t swear to their Gods, at their Gods, that they swear to Allah. So after that Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was not swearing or saying humiliating their, but He was rejecting, they not good.
And some of them also that they were one time, they were, Abu Jahl, they also know that Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam has something but they never accept it. Their hearts are like rock, stone. Abu Jahl was saying I will make something for him to die, for him to die or to trick. He said I, I, make well in the front of my door and I put on top of it something, some carpet and I call him, send somebody to call him and say Abu Jahl is ill and he wants you to come and read for him. Because it’s known for Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam before Prophethood that somebody is ill or somebody has pain and when he put his hand, it is cure. So, I was call him, said come and cure me. And then he fall in the well and he die. Sub Haan Allah, he made what he wants and he called Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam to come to him. Then you know Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam when they were calling him, He was making, He has a hope that he tell them about Islam and they become muslim. They become Wahid, Tawheed.
Then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was going nearly coming to this well, where the well is and, and Abu Jahl was watching him from the door that he is coming. Jibreel Alaihissalam came and He said, ‘go back, it’s, it’s is a trap, don’t come’. Then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was turning going back, then Abu Jahl was so excited, No wait! where are you going? He just went out and he was falling in the well himself. And then he start to scream down, take me out! Take me out! Take me out! And then they come, they put stairs, ladder for him, he said, I cannot reach it, they come put another ladder, not reaching, their putting rope, they said it is not reaching it is so deep and you know it is only two meters the well where they dig and he was sitting on the ground of the well and screaming put, they put so much meter and meters rope putting down. He said I cannot reach, I cannot reach, I cannot hold it is very far. In the end, he was saying, go and call this Muhammad, He is the only one who can take me out. Then when He comes, they call Hazrat e Muhammad, He came and put the rope down. He said come up and He said if you, I take you out, you promise to become muslim, but he come out he said, you are, wizard, you are big magician, you made this for me, never accepting. One time Abu Lahab and his wife was also, He is uncle from Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam but he was also enemy of him, he was, his wife was collecting, wood from, from the desert, some wood that with thorns on it, if this thorn comes, it is like a poisoning it make you to swell and in the end you can die, you die, if from this thorns. So she was collecting and putting it in front of his door, and at night that one, Hazrat e Muhammad, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam coming out of from his home, to go to wudhu, the, He step on it, His fallen and die. Then at night when she put, Allah Azza wa Jalla sent wind blow it in front of their house, Abu Lahab and Ummu Lahab. And, in the morning when they get out of their house, they were stepping on the thorns and they start to swell both of them and they were screaming that we were dying, we are dying, Go and call Muhammad, He’s the only one who can save us.
And when He came He was read…..asking for them and they promise also but later they break the promise and it was Surah, ‘Tabbat yada abi lahabi watab’. About, this, and it’s also when Abu Lahab was also swearing at Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam that Tabbat yada it means that your hand become dry or useless, something like this, so it was coming to, to this Surah, ‘Tabbat yada abi lahabi watab. Ma agna ‘anhu maluhu wama kasab. Sayasla naran thatalahab. Wam ra-atuhu hamma latal-hatab…..And his wife is carrying the carrier of the wood. Also she’s also in, in Jahannam with fire necklace around her neck. She was so angry when she heard about this Surah and Abu Bakr Siddique and Hazrat e Muhammad was at Kaaba worshipping and she was coming very angry, she see him that I will go and beat him, well you know swear at him, then she came and Abu Bakr Siddique and Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was standing next to each other and she was looking where was Muhammad, where did he go? what and Abu Bakr Siddique say, you don’t see, Prophet Muhammad, she said No, where is he, he was just now here and she could not see him and it was, was Hazrat e Jibreel was making his wing in front of him that she cannot see him. This, this also one incident from Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, you know everyday they have different things, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, out up with any mission. One day Abu Jahl was said, I will take one stone while his praying, because Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was praying towards Baitul Maqdis, towards Jerusalem, it was the Qibla was there, but he always liked that he was standing behind Kaaba, so the Kaaba is between, the line to Jerusalem, to Baitul Maqdis, it was He was standing behind always Kaabah in the middle then the Qibla. Where he was praying, so he was, he was Abu Jahl was trying to say, I will take the stone and hit on his head while he was making sajda and he took the stone and come and then there he was, he was running back you know in fear, in frightening. They said what happened? it’s coming closer to Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he was, there was big camel open mouth come, attacking me. I was so afraid that it will kill me so I running away. This is so many things like this also, some asking for miracles, there is every moment, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam showing them miracles lots of people were becoming, muslim, but, but most of the heads, of the Quraysh was also Kaafir, mushriqs, their against Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, all the time and the day when he was, there was Surah, ‘Wannajmi izaa hawaa’, He was reading this and, and, in there was ayah talking about their, their idols. After this, this ayah, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was miss, He put two three words they say it is from shaitan, it’s coming from shaitan and then He continue the Surah, then there was this, Quraysh people also all they are muslim and non-muslim, they were there listening, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam reading the Surah and when they hear this two, three words wrong words, it was between, they thought that Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam is praising their, their idols.
Then in the end of the Surah there is sajda. So they all make sajda, the mushriqs, and the muslims make after Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam but after that Hazrat e Jibreel came and told Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam about the wrong part. He was telling him then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was so sad, about this, coming after that Hazrat e Jibreel came again and said Allah it is forgiven. It is don’t worry about it, you, you don’t be sad. And it was the change that corrected. So then the Quraysh, this mushriqs, they were worse, they were even worse towards Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. And it was news to the people who were immigrate to Hijra to Habesha that all Makkah people are muslim now so some people without taking their mushriq they came back. They some, some stayed in Habesha and some came back so they came back they see that it is not true and mushriqs are getting worse and you know some of them because when you go out of the city they have tradition if you are, like their coming, going out with fear, or with, without.
Then it was tradition if you want to come back to this city you have to have somebody to protect you inside the city, inside the place you have to have somebody saying, his under my protection, I am responsible of him, then they can come in, so they were sending to their relatives to take them in, in Makkah. And then, the mushriqs was Abu Jahl the head of Abu Jahl, he was, they were making plan to put out Hazrat e Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, his family his tribe, all out of Makkah and to not to marry from them and not to let somebody marry to them or not buying, not selling from anything, not doing any social thing with them. They keep them isolated. Then Shaab, Shaab Abu Talib…..Shaab Abu Talib, it was an area it was out of haram shareef out of Makkah, Shaab Bani Hashim. For three years they were isolated in this area, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, his family and his tribe. Even that they are not muslims but their his family, they were supporting, supporting and they were supporting him, and…..also they were isolated from the other Quraysh people. In the end of the three years, they were some relatives they were sending them food or something and it was very hard three years.
After this three years, one of the relatives of this people, Bani Hashim, his mother is from them or something he one night he was sitting, he was inspired, I think, he was saying why you are doing this for our relatives? You know, why we are oppression, making oppressions? Why we are, isolating them? This is not fair, if this Abul Hakam, Abu jahal if they had his family or if we ask for him that he won’t accept this for his family, for his cousins, for his tribe, why we are, doing this?
Then he went to his friend telling him, you know this is not fair, we have to stand up for this against this. Then he said, what, we are two, we cannot go opposite of the whole Quraysh. And then they were, they were making three, four, five, five people, six people in the morning, they came they were sitting in front of the Kaaba, Abu Jahl and the rest and the they were saying that we are not agreeing with this paper what we are write that we don’t want to do this, this, this, this isolate them and we don’t want, don’t want to make anything with them, we are opposing this. Then, Abu Jahl was objecting this, of course all the time objecting and then the other men stand up and say if it was your family or if it was your tribe or we are doing this thing and you accept it, I said this we are then the five one then they rest of the people also were becoming saying this is oppression, we cannot do this. Maa Shaa Allah after three years. Anyway, then Abu Jahl was so angry. He said, this is at night you make this fitna and this and then they were fighting and they went to the, inside the Kaaba with paper, say we were, will tear it.
And Sub Haan Allah, they go and see that inside the Kaaba this paper it was only, there is ‘ Bismika Allahumma’. The name Allah, in you’re name ‘Ya Allah’ it means. It was only this two words left, the rest the worm was eating it so it was this was end of isolation of them. But it was too hard, for, for them, and in a few days or few weeks time Hazrat e Khadija and after Abu Talib or after Hazrat e Abu Talib first then Hazrat e Khadija second were, were passing away. So it was the year of sadness from Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, after Abu Talib pass away and Hazrat e Khadija was passing away and they say that she didn’t have enough kaffan to bury her, they were then, they say they were putting kaffan on top, Her legs are shown and put on the legs, Her top is shown. Then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was telling to put on top and it was, in one saying they said, they put, mat. In, in one saying they, Allah Azza wa Jalla sent with Hazrat e Jibreel kaffan for her. To, to, to make kaffan, to, to what you say kaffan, to wrap her. Hazrat e Khadija was, with her you know, all her years was Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, always supporting him, always with him, loving him without condition. And believing in him and without condition. Allah Azza wa Jalla was sending salam to, through Hazrat e Jibreel telling Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam that tell Khadija that Allah Azza wa Jalla is sending salaams to her. And his, make getting ready for her palace, in, in, in paradise, that it won’t, you, don’t with from, ivory, not ivory, from pearl, pearl, there is no noise, no, no, no bad thing, something like that, it is very peaceful place. No tired and no noise. And he was sending salaams to her to Hazrat e Khadija. She, she’s buried in Makkah, in Jannatul Muallaa, it is close by to Kaaba you know, if you go visit you can go by walking. But of course wahabi don’t let women to go inside the graveyard, don’t let you to visit holy places, it is all haraam all shirk, I don’t know what, I think they are grandchildren from Abu Jahl. Anyway, this is what, and after this Hazrat e Abu Talib, He was also passing away, first Abu Talib then Hazrat e Khadija. Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was so sad, this was the year of sadness, after Hazrat e Abu Talib was passing away it was mushriqs of Quraysh, the…..the people of Quraysh they were torchering him more.
And he was, even they put on his head while he is making sajda, they put tummy, tummy goat, intestines, no the stomach of the sheep on his head. Hazrat e Fatima, He stayed like this in sajda until Hazrat e Fatima was young girl, she was not, she came and took, she was crying and cleaning him and crying and Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was telling her, don’t worry your father, Allah Azza wa Jalla will make him, not, not down. I don’t know this, I, my English is so poor, understand it. So he was, most of the you, you know the story. So He, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was, He was thinking to go immigration, immigrate, to make Hijra so he was thinking, I think it was He went to Taif. Taif is some city close by to Makkah, the weather of it is much better, it is round mountains, it has gardens and thing. There was one of His cousins, married to this, some people there. So he was thinking to take refuge to there. He went out with Zaid. With Zaid, they went to Taif and He was telling seeing this three men, He was telling them about Islam and thing but they were very badly treated him. They were saying bad things and they said we reject you, we don’t want you, and we, you are liar, you are this and you go away from here.
And then He, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam tell them, don’t tell about me that I came here. But they didn’t promise, they were making the opposite they tell also that He here and they send the children and the bad people are after Him and they throwing Him stones in Taif and Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam had, his, I think he had some wound and it was bleeding but it was not coming down and…..He was sitting next to one garden out of the city, and, the, with Zaid trying to look after him and…..Then Jibreel Alaihissalam came and said, if one drop was falling on the ground, Allah will make the ground iron, the, the, the, the sky, still. No one drop rain coming down, no one green thing coming out. And Allah Azza wa Jalla sending you salaams saying that He give you the power from four angels that were holding that wind, was holding the earth, was holding the fire, and who’s holding, the, the, three or four, you know better, if you, you order than, then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was not, Rahmatallil A’lameen, He was not accepting this, He was reading dua, there is a (Dua recitation),there He was reading dua, very famous dua for, for Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam there. He was sitting, resting and then this, the two men, different ones, they saw Him, they sent him grape, they were pitying to Him. They send him some grapes to, to him, with their, with their, servant. The servant was Christian. Then he came and say, you know my, my lords are giving this for you, my owners, and then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam say, ‘Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim’. And then the servant said, you are not talking like the people who’s talking here. What, what you are? He said, I am Muhammad Nabiullah, Rasoolallah. He said, ‘but how you know that I am not talking the same’? He said, because you know, you, who are you, you know, how you know this? He said, ‘ I am Christian, I am he said from where you are, he said, Naynawā, he said you are from, my brother Yunus, Yunus place. Then he was, he said, my brother then he was becoming muslim, the, the servant, then the owners were saying, ‘Oh! He was making you also, spelling you, spelling our servant’.
Anyway, Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was coming back from Taif, it was night time and He was passing through one valley, valley, in this valley He was resting and sitting and in this valley there was jinn, jinn the heads of jinn, from tribes of jinn’s, their heads came to Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, and then Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was offering them Islam and He was reading for them Qur’an and they were accepting it. And they were, I think this time it was, they were complaining about this, there is a tribe, one of tribe of jinn, they are so bad, that they are making fitna and torchering and war all the time, there was so very bad tribe. Then it was Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was reading dua and asking Allah, they were, they were kept, in place between earth and the sky. In this like jailed, they were jailed, there and Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam that time said, in they, they will see there and until it is the end of the time, the the darkness of the people and the sins it will go, go high, high and it will open for them the again, they, where they are and this, I think this is, the time that. It is the time that they come back to the earth and this place this name Mahmadul jinn. It is out of Makkah little bit, it is place where first time when we went to Hajj, our hotels were there, Mahmadul jinn and this is the jinn, also the they were the jinn came and took with Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam they took Baya’h and they took, they make, they become muslim and they went back to their tribes and talk about Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
So this was like this when He, but now because it is known that Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was out of Makkah, the mushriq say, we will not let him go in because he’s out, now he’s should stay, then He was sending some people, some people who’s coming and asking for protection. One of the Qurayshi people give protection to Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam, he was not muslim, he’s mushriq and he took him in, in Makkah. And keep him in his house and next day in the morning with his sons, I don’t know how many sons he had, with, with the sword he come and in front of Kaaba and telling, telling people, that I, I am protecting him, nobody will touch him if, they touch, me and my son’s will fight back, this was the tradition in the Arabs culture. That if you protector, if you say I am protecting this one, I keep this one then the others cannot touch them.
So Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was in Makkah for it was years ten I think, ten years after the Prophet revelation, revelation, three more years he stayed in Makkah for, for and in this three years, He was for Miraj, after that he was in Miraj and He was married Sayyida Sawda and Sayyida Ayesha, Hazrat e Abu Bakr’s daughter was, He was married, nikah for her but marriage it was happen in Medina. But Hazrat e Sawda was married to him. Hazrat e Zainab was married to, His daughter Zainab as married to Her cousin, they was, She was muslim but Her husband was not muslim. But that time it was no ayah still to separate for the muslim to mushriq and it was Hazrat e Ruqaiyya was married to Hazrat e Osman, She had one son but the son, was I don’t know, the cock was hurting his eye and the child died, one child and they were together then it was, Insha Allah tomorrow I tell you and after tomorrow we are making Hijra and Insha Allah next year, Salam Alaykum.
